Landscape Architect

Serve as project manager responsible for overall project budgets, coordination with park superintendents, staff, and others in the conduct of a project. Carry out program management duties by developing work plans and schedules, scopes of work, cost estimates, and proposals and/or grants to justify funding requests and accomplish goals. Design projects of moderate to high complexity including acting as Contracting Officer Representative Coordinate park programs with those on adjacent lands for the purposes of achieving broad protection strategies and preventing human impacts. Conduct or coordinate the review of park projects to assure protection of natural and cultural resources and compliance with applicable federal and state laws Prepare and evaluate environmental assessments (EAs) for park projects in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act. Provide the full range of supervision (administrative and technical direction) for up to three Project Coordinator positions. To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level, you must possess one of the following basic qualifications by close of the announcement:
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Degree:
You have successfully completed a bachelor's or higher degree in landscape architecture or landscape design. This education must be from an accredited college or university. Note:

Experience:
You have a combination of education and experience - for each year short of graduation, I have 1 year of experience under professional leadership and guidance of such character and diversity as to be a satisfactory substitute for the required education. This experience must have included original landscape design. Note:

Experience:
At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as:
1) preparing a variety of comprehensive planning projects related to landscape architecture (i.e. general management plans, development concept plans, etc.); 2) developing feasibility studies; 3) overseeing and analyzing public participation and involvement with partners and stakeholders; and 4) Designing and implementing large scale natural or cultural resource projects or facility management projects. You must include hours per week worked. Volunteer
Experience:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. You must include months, years and hours per week worked to receive credit for your work and/or volunteer experience. One year of specialized experience is equivalent to 12 months at 40 hours per week. Part-time hours are prorated. You will not receive any credit for experience that does not indicate exact hours per week or is listed as varies.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
